TROPICSURF sponsered 12 students of CDC

Care Society is really glad to inform that Tropicsurf (http://www.tropicsurf.net/5-star-surfing) has sponsored 12 children of Care Development Centre (CDC). CDC provides education and rehabilitation services for children/ youth with disabilities. At present there are 44 students registered and 13 classes are conducted with the help of 10 teachers and a Special Education consultant. Depending on the severity of the disabilities Individual Education programmes are prepared and practiced for each student. Also Vocation Training classes are conducted for the young adults. Among the students attending CDC, 9 students are still in need of sponsors. So the people who are willing to sponsor children, the opportunity is still open. Child Sponsorships forms will be available from the Care Society.

Information regarding Child Sponsorship:
1.    Minimum duration for sponsoring a child would be one year.
2.    Care Society spend MRF 1000 per child which goes towards their education and rehabilitation, which includes the running cost of the rehabilitation center (Currently Care Society spends Rf 58,500 towards the salary of the CDC staff). If ministry of Education commits Rf16, 000 than the amount per child’s comes to Rf885. And the amount MRf1000 is decided including all the expenses to run the rehabilitation programme). The sponsored amount will go directly to the child’s educational and rehabilitation services with the current capacity of CDC.
3.    Quarterly progress report and a financial report will be circulated to the sponsors.
4.    If the current financial situation changes it will be communicated with the sponsor immediately.
